Pours a slight hazed peach infused lighter golden with a nice half finger tight head atop.A good shot of ripe citrusy hops hit ya in the nose alone some deep caramel malts,a nice mix of the two.Starts out with a big splash of citrusy and grassy hops then a diacetyl butteriness comes in along with some toasted grain in the finish.Alot going on for a "smaller" beer, very sessionable and flavorful.

On tap at the Park Bar in Detroit. Pours a pale-amber, slightly orange color with a white head that sifts down to a thin cover within minute. Aroma, as expected, full of citrus hops, very, very heavy mango and pineapple, nearly a "tropical" smelling beer - very nice and inviting. The bitter aroma from the hops is present, but is cut down quite a bit by the sweetness from the citrus-side of things. The taste combats with a little more of a bitter edge than the nose would have you believe, but the citrus notes are still there, with the pineapple and mango now joined by maybe some tangerine. Bitterness has a spike in the middle, but still never gets too high or overwhelming, which is pretty much what you're looking for in an APA - hop presence, but not necessarily dominance. Medium body, slightly sticky, carbonated well.
Very solid APA from Odd Side Ales. I've only had three of their beers, but I've enjoyed them thoroughly - all very unique and well-crafted. I need to try more.

Pours an orange-tinged golden brown with one finger of off-white head. Head leaves some decent lacing. Smell is very nice citra hops, giving both citrus pulp and zest. Faint malt aroma. Taste also has nice juicy citrus as well as bitter citrus zest. Not as bitter as Zombie Dust. Just a very nice Citra flavor that is still hoppier than many APAs. Medium mouthfeel finishes with a subtle but lingering dry bitterness. Between this and the Pineapple IPA, Odd Side is making some solid hoppy beers. Very tasty.

12 oz bottle, date stamped as bottled on 18 June 2013, poured into snifter.
Amber color with a modest cream-colored head. Clear. OK retention and decent lacing on the glass.
Aroma: Dominated by Citra hops. An inviting mix of of tropical fruits – including lemon, pineapple, orange and mango – and sweet malts with notes of grass and pine.
T: Starts off sweet with a fruity (hops) caramel (malt) mix, then a solid blast of fruity hops, with oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, and mangos. Very tasty. Fruity and mildly bitter Citra hop flavors linger on and on afterwards. .
Feel – Medium-light bodied; excellent carbonation level; semi-dry finish.
O: An exceptional APA, with a level of hop aroma and flavor that fit the IPA label, but with lower bitterness than an average IPA. Very fruity and surprisingly complex for a single-hop brew.

Bright and clear, this one is pretty much a straight amber color. It grows an off-white head that settles to a finger's height without dropping too much further, staying tight and creamy as well as managing some good lacing, in plenty of thick patching.
A nice, bright citra hops nose is offered with a malt addition that serves to balance and allow the hops bill to maintain key status. As such, there's a firm bitterness that's juicy, mild notes of pine and earth allowing tropical fruits to take the forefront.
The bitterness is at a standard level for the style, and it serves well. It's a nice, juicy sort of flavor with a balance from malts that doesn't take away from the hops. Citrus zest, light floral notes, and lemongrass make for good depth and a satisfying complexity.
A medium body that works well and leans light and bright, it might have a little more depth to it overall. It's semi-dry as some leaf pulls some dryness into the middle. Crispness is moderate and steady, as is smoothness.
