Had this beer at Slows Barbecue.
Was pleasantly surprised. Big smell Huge taste. Served in a brandy snifter this beer hits your lips with vanilla and chocolate. as it move to the back of your throat you start to feel the heat. Oh yes and wait for it..BAM..cloves(?) chilies (?) wow -lingering heat.. Went superb with my Brisket..I will be looking for this in bottles (i Hope)

reviewed from notes
Appearance: black to walnut around the edges. a finger of a brown head that slowly fades. leaves a bit of a lacing on the sides. not quite opaque around the edges.
Smell: mocha, light coffee, slight cinnamon, and some pepper character.
Taste: opens up with mocha-y mixture of chocolate, coffee up front. nutmeg and cinnamon, very slight habanero spice and taste in the back
Mouthfeel: light and a little bitter from the spices, a very small amount of pepper heat
Overall: a great and complex light stout. a good change up from all the big and super roasty and hoppy stouts.
Serving type: bottle
