Reddish orange low head. Smell is sweet caramel malt and orange. Taste is sweet, citrus with a nice bitterness. Overall a decent IPA but nothing spectacular.

Bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, citrus and pine. Very malty and oddly bitter.

Run of the mill west coast IPA. Very strong hop flavor, ridiculous head, not a lot else going on.

Hey this looks real good, orange, almost 1" of head on it, held down the fort in terms of lace and retention thereof. Then it falls off in the aroma department. Soap. Fuck. Cmon man.

All bitter with no substance. Heavy bitterness, grating. Overall, it became a decently average ipa, but not something I would pay almost $6 for a bottle for again. Average beer can't be put in more expensive formats and expect me to come back.

A: The beer is crystal clear amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high light beige head that died down, leaving some specks of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of citrusy hops—grapefruit and tangerine zest seem to stand out in particular—along with hints of piney hops. The smell becomes stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of grapefruit and tangerines with some hints of piney hops. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is nice and citrusy, but has a different type of citrusy flavor that seem less juicy and more like zest.

Pours nice and light, huge head. Taste middle-of-the-road for a single IPA, hoppy for sure, not much aroma. Excellent body/mouthfeel.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a half finger white head that dissipates to a thick film with moderate lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt, citrus hops, orange and grapefruit, a hint of rye spiciness. Flavor starts with mild caramel malt, resinous grapefruit rind hops, light lemon and orange, and a slight rye tartness. Finishes with rather intense grapefruit rind bitterness that has a resinous feel, but little pine flavor. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Quite hop forward, with the grapefruit and rye flavors building on the bitterness of the hop component. The malt is substantial enough to support the hops, but has little character of its own. Good lingering, somewhat intense hop finish, but with subdued hop herbal flavors. I enjoyed the whole bottle, but felt this was in the middle of the pack for rye ales. Good but not great.
