Great tasting IPA. Smooth and relaxing. I recommend this beer for most IPA drinkers. If you like a nice tasting, not too bitter beer give it a try. Nice color, nice smell, good taste but it's a little murky.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a thick white head. Smell is pretty interesting. Peppery at first but then it makes way for blueberries, mango, pine and sweet malt. Taste is super fruity up front. A little dank with some pepper, citrus, and pine as well. Maltiness comes through a lot surprisingly; one thing I wish was different about this brew. But even then, this beer just screams Mosaic hops. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with just the right amount of carbonation. Low bitterness makes this a hop flavor explosion. Overall an awesome IPA that I'm glad has made the transition to cans. Man this is good.

Had this side by side with Alpine's Nelson, and this one edged out, though they were pretty different overall.

Cloudy yellow-orange pour, with a fluffy cap of white head, which dissipated to a wispy layer, lacing the glass just a bit. Aroma of light leafy hops, notes of citus zest and crackery malts. Taste was crisp with fresh hops--not intensely hoppy, kind of reminded me of Zombie Dust a little--grassy, leafy, lemon and orange zest, not too bitter, with a sweet rock candy malt base. Body was light-medium, mouthfeel was crisp and clean. Enjoyable.

Tried at the Mother Earth tasting room in Vista.

A: Nice golden straw color with visible white head, that was light and disappeared after a short time. Nice lacing and clarity.

S: Grapefruit, citrus, earth tones underneath with malt on the back.

T: Superb, very balanced with hops and malts interacting nicely. Hop forward with a little bitterness that is countered with the malty sweetness. One of the more balanced IPA's available at M.E.

M: Dry, crisp, but refreshing. Even and smooth character with an even body that lends to the hop bite.

O:A great example of an IPA, would be glad to drink again.

Can't read canned on date

Look - Pours a clear honey orange with fluffy white head. Decent distribution, small to medium bubble size. Decent retention, excellent lacing.

Smell - Lots of strawberry, mango, a hint of pineapple, general mosaic goodness. Aromatics aren't super fragrant, but they are there. A bit of cat pee dankness going on. Very nice.

Taste - Much more dank than the nose, green onion, broccoli, litter box, to go along with all the delicious fruity aspects. The bitterness comes through on the finish, and lingers a bit. Again, as like the nose, the flavors are a bit muted, but a supremely drinkable IPA.

Feel - Light to medium bodied, tingle on the sides of the tongue. Not oily at all, despite the abundance of hops characteristics. Slightly wet.

Overall - This is by far my favorite beer that I've had from Mother Earth. Just an excellent showcase of mosaic hops.

Great beer I probably wouldn't have otherwise had if it weren't thanks to @_ghettopandas_. Deliciously floral with bursts of passionfruit, peaches and nectarines. The taste is classic Mosaic hops. Easy drinking, all delicious. Well done, MEBCO.

Poured from bomber - Golden, straw coloring with finger of head and some lacing. Aroma is wonderfully hoppy and piney; very appealing. Taste is balanced, delicious. Smooth feel, medium bodied and easy to drink. Overall, quite enjoyable.

Unusually subtle especially for an IPA made in Cali. I'd like to take this beer and give it some more malt and body then again its nice to drink an IPA that stands out for its restraint rather than for being overly hoppy and syrupy. Overall a very solid beer from Mother Earth. Just not exactly what I was expecting.

A: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a bone white head. Some nice lace streaks down the glass.

S: Kind of a musty attic hop smell, if that makes sense. There are some tropical and citrus hop notes here, mainly passion fruit, pineapple and kiwi, but there's the musty malt blanket covering it.

T: Has some light grapefruit, tangerine and light floral hops. There's a pretty deep earthy malt backbone, with some spicy rye- like notes. Finish has some pine hop resin. It's alright. So far, I just don't know if Mosaic hops are for me.

Pours a clear yellow amber in the Duvel tulip. Great aroma of piney, flowery hops. Sharp and spritzy mouthfeel.

Pleasantly malty with some nice tangy notes. Warm flavors but thin body. Moderately bitter for the aftertaste, but unmistakably an IPA. On the acidic side, which is no surprise, but it does overwhelm the crackery malt after a few sips.

Reviewer notchucknorris is correct in tasting Mosaic hops, which the brewery says are the only hop here and rate this at 65 IBUs. This is really a pretty good IPA that threads the way between the rocks of Big Hop Flavor and Too Much Bitterness to a successful ending. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Beverage Warehouse near Marina Del Rey.

Bottle into a snifter.

Pale yellow gold with a large white head and an infinite amount of bubbles continuously feeding the froth.

The aroma has a strong green onion character, but it's not unpleasant. Tangerine is evident, accompanied by grapefruit and a light doughy malt presence. There's some pineapple as well.

The flavor exhibits notes of mango, tangerine, and green onion, with a touch of tropical fruit. Malt is restrained, with just a little cracker-like character. There's a lower level of moderate bitterness and a light sweetness, making this eminently quaffable. The long-lasting aftertaste is very pleasant, with lingering notes of mango and pineapple. The beer is lower medium in body and light on the palate with a lower high level of carbonation and a sticky, dry mouthfeel. No alcohol is evident.

This is quite good. It seems that one of the hops in this batch has a defiant green onion character, but it wasn't distracting enough to bring the beer down. This is a beer I will definitely buy again.

Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy orange-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and slight herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with great citrus forward hop aromas and tasty flavors.

I don't think I've had mosaic hops before so I don't really know what I should be looking for in them. Good IPA though.

I have been thinking of this beer non-stop since I've had it.

It is hazy, but it is also very pungent in a "Drink Me" way. Great beer in my opinion.

Great mouth feel and overall a great body. I'd be so proud to brew this beer myself. Color is a golden haze but again as it is poured the aroma makes up for any cloudy imperfections. Oh yeah, and again it's a great IPA from San Diego.

Thanks to theJohnChamp! 12oz can (date is blurry). Pours a hazy golden straw color. Smells like a Mosaic Bomb immediately! Amazing. Feels a bit creamy, with just enough bitterness to linger and love. I could crush this all day. Wish I lived next to Vista, CA and not Vista, NY.

This beer has a nice golden color, once you pour into the glass you smell the Mosaic hop aroma. Great hoppy mouth feel with a refreshing finish. This is one to look out for... If this gets out like Pliny this will be hard to find, so get it now... Cheers!

Nice little IPA. Showcases Mosaic, one of my favorite hops, in a glorious, drinkable fashion. This beer is super smooth and delicious!! The best little IPA I've had in a while! Beifall!!

Picked up a bomber from Holiday Wine Cellar in early September for $6.99.

Beer poured a clear gold with an okay white head.

Nose is catty city fresh hop aroma - well done!

Taste is grapefruit and mango. Finish is clean as a whistle.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a nice refreshing finish.

Overall this is a very well made IPA coming from a market that is very competitive in this genre. Give it a shot if you come across it.

12oz can from Bine and Vine. More yellow than orange. Aroma of citrus hops, nice. Flavor is very nice citrus hops, not over the top, just delicious. Might need a sixer to take back to Denver.

Pours light gold with a light haze, forms a stark white head that lifts up to two fingers. While head retention is rather poor it does leave a heavy dose of attractive lacing on the glass.

Fresh mango, and pineapple float atop a solid citrus and pine hop aroma. A bit of the grainy malt bill wafts in adding bread and honey sweetness. The complexity of the Mosaic hops adds notes of kiwi and melon but also a musty/earthy cover that prevents the aroma from coming full blast.

Pale malt is bready with added wheat zing to lighten up the malt and keep things lively. Hops provide an airy grass, citrus pith and pine flavor. Bitterness is moderate and sticks around with a dry cleansing mouthcoating.

Very light on its feet, Boo Koo is easy to put down with moderate carbonation. The drying feel is exceptional and enhanced the bitterness of the hops over the flavor or aroma. Very clean with minimal alcohol or sticky malt.

One of the better Mosaic hop executions I have tried and a new top IPA from Mother Earth's lineup. Terrific feel to this beer while providing a strong aroma/flavor profile. Mosaic is not overdone playing with the variance of the hop variety while providing direction and impact..
