Clear dark orange, nearly amber, with a thin off-white head that eventually leaves spots of lace down the glass.
Very hop-forward aroma, with the aroma exploding with grapefruit and pine aromas combining together nicely. There's a bit of sweetness but it doesn't come off as a major component of the beer's nose.
The flavor is moderately bitter, with big notes of grapefruit and orange, along with some sticky pine. The malt profile is a touch sweet, with a hint of caramel.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, though crisp and incredibly drinkable.
Better than Primordial--this stuff is awesome!

American Double IPA
Appearance- Amber with some haziness but not much, Head is small and doesn't retain itself long.
Aroma- Citrus hops, underwhelming a little bit. Maybe some pine behind the citrus
Taste- Citrus and melon definitely. Not much bitterness, a very balanced double. Wish some more hops came through. Maybe a little breadiness from the malts.
Mouthfeel- Medium bodies that lingers for a few seconds. Moderately carbonated as well.
Overall- Will drink again but wont target if other options are available. I think it’s a good DIPA for people who are not big HopHeads.

Poured into a shaker pint glass. Pours a rich golden amber; we poured two glasses from the 22oz. bomber and the second glass was much cloudier from yeast at the bottom of the bottle. A half finger white head dissipated quickly leaving quite a bit of lacing. Nice aroma of citrus and slightly herbal hops, sweet malt. Flavor was sweet bready malt, orange and tropical fruit, citrus hops, but more muted in intensity than the aroma. The cloudier glass had a richer, more interesting flavor than the clear early pour. Medium bodied. A nice citrus and tropical fruit flavored IPA that was nice malt balance. The hops in the flavor did not deliver the intensity promised by the aroma, but still this IPA had a nice blend of hops and sufficient bitterness. A well made and enjoyable IIPA.
