Six pack of cans purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
Put out there as a new "seasonal" but the "Genesis date" is 02/28/19. Poured in to a pint glass.

Look- Ever so slightly hazy darker amber color, nice little off-white head with good retention, moderate lacing. Light carbonation streaming as it sits.

Smell- Generic citrus (orange and lemon), light pineapple and other tropical flavors, melon, grassy, dank resinous pine, herbal/earthy elements, generic light fruitiness (think Nelson hop type green grapes, watermelon rind, over-ripe kiwi that get stronger the more it warms). Light spicy and floral notes.

Taste- Overly sweet and lackluster, muted flavors. Lightly bitter that gets killed in the malty finish.

Feel- Light bodied with a overly cloying sweet malt liquor type finish. Average carbonation. Poorly balanced.

O- Seriously disappointed, I now know what I bought is old but if this is what they were going for, won't ever go back to this, and I really like other ME offerings a lot.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance- The beer pours a very lightly hazed orange amber color with a billowy white head of two finger height. Over time the head slowly fades leaving one with a massive amount of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of tangerine and tropical fruits mixed with aromas of some pine and a little bit of an herbal smell. Along with these aromas comes some light caramel and bread and a hint of molasses.
Taste – The taste begins with a quite tangerine and orange heavy flavor that is balanced by some bready malt and a bit of grapefruit hop. Other hop flavors of pine and herb quickly develop on the tongue as the taste advances with some other flavors of tropical fruit and light notes of sugar sweet (caramel and toffee) flavors developing more toward the end of the taste. With a decent hit of earth and a light pine at the very end of the taste, one is left with a citrusy and fruity sweet and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in its thickness and creaminess for an IPA of 7.2 % abv. with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lighter side. Overall the feel is nice and makes for and easy drinking brew.
Overall - A decent more citrus and fruit heavy IPA. Easy drinking and flavorful and worth a try if you get the chance.

Serving type: Growler from the Tap House in Vista. Told the keg was roughly 6 days from kegging.

The appearance is super clear, bright, and translucent. No chill haze whatsoever. A beautiful amber honey color. Aroma is heavy tropical fruit, papaya, pineapple, slight herbal tea. This is a heavy sumbitch of Nelson and Idaho-7. Taste reflects the smell. Lots of tropical and stone fruit, herbal tea, plenty of dankness, some subtle mango. Feel is dry but not thin, full mouthfeel. Pleasant to drink. Flavors last for a roughly four seconds before it dissipates and beckons you for another sip. A great IPA. Overall, a great IPA with great aroma and taste that is insanely crushable.

i wanted to like this a lot more than i did, it tasted kind of generic and muted, overbalanced by the malt, which isnt even all that heavy, and even though there is decent bitterness here, this presents itself more as an older school american pale ale than relevant ipa in todays landscape. apparently its nelson hops, which, i had trouble picking out. it makes me wonder if maybe i didnt catch this real fresh, but on tap at a high volume bar, that shouldnt be an issue right? its grassy and more noble than new zealand to me, perhaps some green vegetal fade on it. not bad at all, it tastes clean and has a good feel, i like the bitterness, and the flavor is balanced and all, its not messed up, its just not as aromatic or flavorful as i hoped it would be, and as an expression of nelson, its not real great. this is the first hoppy beer from mother earth that i havent really liked, especially lately, so i will revisit it at another bar or from the bottle or can, give it another shake, im a nelson guy, so i want to experience it again to be sure, but the first impression of it wasnt a memorable one...

Crazy, organic, plant-focused DIPA. Mother Earth indeed (my 1st).
A) Nice looking beer. Clear dark orange amber, w big lace and lasting retention.
S) Earth! Peat, grass, spring earth, citrus, feel like I'm in a green house.
T) Falls off a bit from aroma peak, souring bitteriness, with a ripe, fecund plant stem body, again earthy, peaty, unusual, and having become more vegan... after being taken aback, I'm going there. Original.
F) Brassy. Bright. smooth, drying medium body.
O) As a BAer wrote: "earthy, the plant flavors feel a little raw" - agree so it comes down to whether that's your cup of tea and for now, after initial mistrust of this beer, I now trust, like and recommend it for its originality.

A personal favorite of mine. Creamy and has very prominent mango flavor, that combined with the finish of pine hit a soft spot in my heart.

Picked up a single from the craft beer hop stop cooler on February 10th 2018 for $1. 83. Canned on 12-27-17. Stored in the beer fridge since purchase.

Beer poured orange with a beautiful white head that has some very nice hangtime.

Nose is tropical forward and quite appealing.

Taste is mango and papaya forward over a moderate malt base with a nice Pine finish to let you know this is an IPA.

Mouthfeel is light-bodied and very refreshing.

Overall this is quite the quaffable IPA. I love the body, the tropical, and the bitter, nice beer!
