Poured from a 12oz bottle into an imperial pint.

A: Pours a hazy reddish, brownish, amberish color with an off white head up top that quickly forms a bubbly ring with a faint skim. Tiny amount of lacey webs.

S: Sweet malt with just enough fruity tang to keep things a little interesting.

T: Toasty malt with hints of caramel. Tangy/fruity yeast heads off the sweetness and leads to an odd dusty/dirty flavor. Not quite sure if it's the yeast, hops, or malt but it's there and it's weird.

M: Dry, dusty and slightly fruity. Finish lasts a long time.

D: I was hoping for a hoppy red along the same lines, quality wise, as their Iron Horse IPA. This one isn't quite up to snuff.

Got this one through the generosity of witbier, who brought one back just because he's a nice guy. Thanks, Zeke!

A-Wow is this carbonated! A gentle pour into a tilted glass still raises a foamy three inch head. Settles ok. A bit more peach than amber or red in appearance.

S-Biscuit malt with a yeasty zing in the back. Some nice hop presence but in keeping with the style.

T-Very nice. Solid malt backbone with a pleasant sweetness. Some hop bite in the finish. A very nice flavor.

M-Medium bodied and somewhat overcarbonated.

D-A nice drinkable amber ale. Other than the carbonation issue, this is quite tasty.
