Poured from a 12oz bottle into an imperial pint.

A: Pours a hazy reddish, brownish, amberish color with an off white head up top that quickly forms a bubbly ring with a faint skim. Tiny amount of lacey webs.

S: Sweet malt with just enough fruity tang to keep things a little interesting.

T: Toasty malt with hints of caramel. Tangy/fruity yeast heads off the sweetness and leads to an odd dusty/dirty flavor. Not quite sure if it's the yeast, hops, or malt but it's there and it's weird.

M: Dry, dusty and slightly fruity. Finish lasts a long time.

D: I was hoping for a hoppy red along the same lines, quality wise, as their Iron Horse IPA. This one isn't quite up to snuff.

A-Wow is this carbonated! A gentle pour into a tilted glass still raises a foamy three inch head. Settles ok. A bit more peach than amber or red in appearance.

S-Biscuit malt with a yeasty zing in the back. Some nice hop presence but in keeping with the style.

T-Very nice. Solid malt backbone with a pleasant sweetness. Some hop bite in the finish. A very nice flavor.

M-Medium bodied and somewhat overcarbonated.

D-A nice drinkable amber ale. Other than the carbonation issue, this is quite tasty.
