Picked this up at my favorite beer store in Belgium, Dranken Geers. Crystal clear copper-amber pour with two finger head that quickly fades with nice lacing. The nose is all New Zealand hops. Especially prominent are the Nelson Sauvin, my favorite! The taste is all New Zealand as well. The hops are dominant and unique. Resiny and distinctly Kiwi. There's a bit of grapefruit and pine, but not like an American IPA. And that signature Nelson Sauvin earthy, vinous, almost oniony flavor. For me it's hard to describe, but I just know that I love it. The mouthfeel is oily and slightly chewy with a nice bitter and subtly dry finish. This is one of those unique beers that stand out in a crowded IPA market. These Kiwis are a force to be reckoned with!
