This was a hoppy Belgian red ale, if I remember the description, brewed in collaboration with Headlands brewing from up north. The beer itself poured a dark cherry amber and looked appealing. However, the hops were lost in a sea of Belgo-y esters, and the hints of roast were just enough to confuse the mix even further. I like my red ales on the dank and sticky side, not the sickly sweet, so take that for what you will as well.
