This is a little hole in the wall in Burlington, they've got pools and a huge open window with lots of seating that's half outside, so it's really nice in the summer. It's full of locals and college kids so don't expect too much.
Half their beer is probably BMC, but they've usually got a few good taps like DFH 60 min, Sam Adams seasonals (Noble Pils was on this spring), and locals like Long Trail & Magic hat. It's all pretty cheap though with pints usually under $4. They also do pitchers for pretty reasonable amounts as well.
Not worth a special trip but it's not too bad.

Lived directly across from this place for a better part of three years. Living across the street from a bar or tavern must have it's advantages right? Not this place. Went in their one time. ONLY cool thing was they had Schlitz on tap to accompany the awful PBR. This place had a local reputation as a "Trustafarian" or wanna be "hipster" hangout. The service sucked, the beer selection (except Schlitz) was nearly PBR in all forms, and the atmosphere especially sucked! I've seen Phish twice, and the Dead once. I want a beer, not a bunch of drunk wannabe hippies.
On a side note. The vast majority of my neighbors (at the time) never stepped foot in there.

You know, I had liked this place for the pool table and the crowd alone up until tonight. They have a relatively standard american bar-class selection of brews, you know your Guiness and PBR with a small local addition of beers like Otter Creek Black IPA.
However, I came in tonight and after I ordered my pint I was told by the bartender that I'd be "unwelcome if I didn't start tipping, because I come there all the time" and that "if I didn't like to tip I shouldn't go to bars" . I'd not been to the bar in about 6 months and frankly I like to take care of my bartenders. The fact that these thing were even said to me by this person is absolutely professionally appalling. I promptly refused the beer I was given, demanded my money back and left the venue.
After such an experience it's quite difficult to recommend this bar to anyone; I've never met with such unprofessional behavior in my life going to bars or restaurants and the fact that the bar owner tolerates this type of behavior shows the derelict character of the establishment. I've moved on to the very traditional Finnegan's Pub in Burlington (which I highly recommend for the amazing value of their very "Irish" whiskey pours) and suggest you all do the same.
