Although this pale ale is mild in color, look out! It has six hop additions to tantalize the senses. But beware, it is known as "The Ale That Stings!"

12 ounce bottle, no dating, no ABV stated.
Pours a deep, right, clear red, with little white head that goes away to nothing, leaves minimal lacing.
Aroma is fruity hops and esters, with malt, and hints of... wood?
Taste is fairly bitter hoppiness, but a little coarse, and not especially pleasant. Leaves a thickish, viscous coating in my mouth.
Overall, a decent, drinkable beer, and more hop pronounced than most Utah brews. (The only more hoppy ones I can think of under the 4% cap are Red Rock's IPA Junior, and Squatters Full Suspension.)
I'd buy it again if I were at a bar and it was the best thing available, but wouldn't go out of my way.

A very solid pale ale that is smooth, hoppy, and a touch of biscuit malt. Some piney notes, but mild. A nice copper color with a soapy head.
The flavor profile has improved now that it has 5% abv. The 4% version was a bit thin, but this one has a lighter body with more flavor.

Pours perfectly clear light amber into my pint glass.
Smooth pour nice head dissipates quickly. Sessionable. Non-complex with nothing outstanding but nothing bad either except for a slight astringent aftertaste.
Overall though, a nice enjoyable beer to quench the thirst.

A wonderful must-try IPA from Moab brewery in Utah. Dark amber brown body with a light caramel head. Nice earthy aroma with some toasty elements. Flavors of earth, grass and resin with a wonderful hop bitterness. Has an oily texture. A nice finish with a decent aftertaste.

Pours a half-finger of yellow-tan head over a nearly clear rust liquid. Smells of diacetyl and citrusy hops (oranges, grassy, lemon, grapefruit pith, and berry).
Tastes rough grassy hop bite without the accompanying clean bitter to counter. Flat woody and orange flavor with some pith. malt is a non-descript sweet beneath. Hops dominate and the finish suffers from an old hop character. Md-light body and medium drinkability.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a clear amber color with 1/2 inch bubbly white head that quickly recedes.
S: Nice fresh honey and apple with floral hops. Straight forward, but good. Aroma is best immediately after the pour...giving this a few minutes to settle and it's not nearly as good.
T: Floral and bitter hops...not much else. If all you want are hops, this may be your brew. Personally I'm looking for a bit more.
M: Smooth and slightly oily feel. Light body. Bitter and mildly dry hop feel.
D: At 4%, it's sessionable, but it's too much of a one-note brew to be all that drinkable. I certainly wouldn't turn one down in the future if offered, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it. Thanks to my father-in-law for bringing this one back for me!
