My first impression of this place is that's it quite an upscale supermarket, nothing like the Rouses in Gulfport. Typical supermarket atmosphere, but nothing typical about the selection. It was pretty impressive. Lots of craft, some imports, a good bit of bombers, a decent singles selection, everything clearly priced. And those prices weren't to bad either. The only staff was I encountered was at check out, she was friendly, and quite beautiful. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this place, and plan to return.

I do like the selection of beers that Rouses carry, and they are priced fair.

Because there are not alot of grocery stores in the metarie area that carry a large selection of speacialty beers, Rouses is a good start.

The prices are reasonable, but i noticed that the individual beers are priced high. That is true at alot of stores though.

All in all, it is a good resourse for those who do not like the same old "piss water" beers such as Bud, Coors, and Miller and are looking for a wider selection of good tasting beers.

Stopped in to this Rouses today and checked out their beer selection. I must say it was pretty damn impressive as far as grocery stores go.

Quality: Nice mix of macro beers, craft beers and imports. Saw some Stone, Harpoon and even Fullers Vintage.

Service: It's a grocery store I never expect much. No one approached me and no one helped me. Didn't expect it anyways.

Selection: As I said before it was a great mix of craft, macro and imports.

Value: It's a grocery store so the prices are a little less than what you may find around town.

Overall: Not a bad place to get beer if you're shopping for groceries. Not a place I would go out of my way to go get beer especially with Cork & Bottle right around the corner.
