a small, independent store which has great value and service, while being very down to earth and unpretentious.
Prices are very reasonable and some of the most competitive in Melbourne for craft beer.
Have about 8 rotating beers on tap, with a good variety of local and international beers along with a good variety of styles.
If drinking in, can choose anything on tap or select any bottle in store and only pay a minimal fee for glass and service. Food is limited but we were told that you can bring something in from a takeaway nearby or choose to have their well priced cheese platter, along with a few other snack like options.
Overall, a great, unpretentious, well priced bottleshop, with plenty of quality beers (along with the usual range of alcoholic beverages - for non beer drinking friends) to choose from (in relation to the size of the store). A place to feel comfortable drinking alone or with friends or a good place to get some good quality takeaway brews.
