The other of two stores in Sydney under the same name. I get to the North Strathfield store quite a bit, but looking back, this is only the 2nd time i've been to the Bellevue Hill one in 9 years in Sydney!
The two stores are run by brothers Adam and Tony. Adam is the expert on beer and Tony has a specialty in wine. Generally they alternate between the stores.
Nice clean store, well laid out. Tonnes of attractive, timber shelving and a solid amount of fridge space. Not the biggest store, but every bit of wall space is used for products. Impressive little glass cabinet for beer glassware. Amazed they had both the Mikkeller white and black glasses on sale!
Good craft beer section, about 50% kept ambient, the other 50% refrigerated. Quite a wide range - wider than the North Strathfield store -
of beer that is interesting and not just beer to say that they stock (insert massive figure) of beers.
The service is very good. Tony is always nice and easy to deal with and happy to call Adam to answer any beer related questions on the spot as he acknowledges that beer isn't his main area of expertise. Adam is brilliant, passionate, easy to have a joke and laugh with. Adam is also happy to order stuff in should you be serious about it too.
As alluded to earlier, the craft selection isn't the biggest going around, but it is beer that is quality or at least interesting to try, so for me that counts and you always leave with a purchase and not deflated about the number of stuff that is rubbish clogging up shelf space.
Prices are slightly more expensive, but the service is worth going for and pays for any slightly higher sticker price. The top beer store in Sydney, with their North Strathfield running just behind.

After visiting the North Strathfield store, I made a trip out East to Bellevue Hill to do a straight comparison. If anything, this place is better again. It had a pretty similar (and awesome) range - all the Rogues, Mikkeller, Nogne O (including their Sahti with Dugges), Brewdog's collaboration with Stone, Flying Dog, Great Divide, a great range of Belgians including De Ranke, St Bernardus, Lindemans and the usual suspects. Of course, they have a great selection of Aussie micros as well, including a number of the Bridge Road Chevalier series.
They also had a pretty great range of NZ micros as well, including Pink Elephant, Three Boys, Dux de Luxe and Wigram. Let's face it, this has pretty much the best range anywhere in Sydney, and is probably on a par with any beer store in Australia. It doesn't match some of the best beer stores in the US or Europe, but that's based on actual availability. Something tells me if there were more beers available in Australia, they'd make room for them on the shelf here.
The guy was very cheery and helpful, and though I didn't stop to chat beer with him, he was obviously ready to go, and was really keen on his beer. I ended up with fourteen bottles of beer, and he threw in a free bottle of Rogue for me. Value wise, the prices are identical to the North Strathfield store, which is pretty reasonable considering what you're buying. For fourteen bottles I shelled out around $140, but I was certainly purchasing the more expensive end. The Aussie brews are noticeably cheaper (up to half the price) than the equivalent imports, and there were a number of beers I thought were bargains.
It was worth shelling out the ridiculous toll for the Cross City Tunnel to visit. It must be amazing if you live in the area.
