Work usually brings me through Lafayette, and I am always on the lookout for some different beers that I can bring back to Texas. I saw this was recently added, and the first review was glowing, so here it goes.
As I walk in, I am greeted by the cashier, and a stand with cocktails to sample. I was offered one when I entered, and one when I left. Though mixed vodka drinks are not my thing. There are lots of wine and liquor with a beer cooler in the back. The beer selection is nothing special at all. Lots of BMC, their pseudo craft, and Euro macros to choose from. Some Sierra Nevada year-round beers, and handful of Rogue bombers, Sam Adams, Sam Smith, and Chimay. Of coarse Abita as well. That is it. Nothing out of the ordinary or special. Could I find something decent to drink? Sure, but not a beer destination in the least. Stick to Marcello's and Philippe's for good beers in Lafayette. It is a fine store for what it is, but not a place I will visit again with the other two great beers stores in town.

Everything about this place is exceptional. There are other places to find beer in lafayette, but another great place to stop by is never a bad thing. The owners are still learning but it is refreshing that they are so receptive to information from their customers. Their wine selection looks good to me, although my wife is the wine drinker. They also have the best cigar selection of the three craft beer stores in lafayette.
They do not have the largest selection in Lafayette, but they have some things the others do not have. I live being able to shop for the diamonds in the rough.
You can also get PBR 12 packs there. Great for crawfish season.
