Stopped here on a massive trip to the national parks. When in Utah you can't really complain about the beer that much. The place was little tight on the inside with the bar and table layout. They had like 5 or 6 beers on tap and I got the heffe. I saw people order the raspberry heffe and all they did was pour a heffe and add some raspberry syrup from a plastic syringe to the beer. If this bar was anywhere else but Utah I would say skip it, but since it is in Utah it is probably the best thing within a few hundred miles. The place gets packed. Food was decent and service was good. I would not seek this place out but if in the area its your best bet.
cheers

This place should not be considered a brewery. L-shaped service bar just inside the entrance, maybe 8 or 10 tables. Tap list was mostly widely distributed regional, and 2 hefes that they put fruit syrup in. I did not partake.

Been here a few times on my way to doing some canyons in Hanksville. Nice little brew selection on-tap. The food is very good, burgers, german potato salad, pizza. Nice quiet place for the most part. Would visit again.

The professor leading my Sedimentary Basin Analysis field trip decided on Groggs for dinner. Another Utah 'near-beer' brewpub? Yes, but these guys are a little better than most (re: Uinta).

Southern comfort stylings, with antique farm equipment and wooden slats everywhere. The grub is comfort food as well, but delicious all the while. The baby back ribs I ordered were some of the most massive, most tender, most delicious ribs I've ever eaten (and having lived in both NC and TX, I love me some pork!). Others in the party were equally as pleased with their meals, and the table looked like a post-Thanksgiving dinner scene after we were all finished. The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and even let us grimy geologists wash our hands behind the bar due to the line at the bathroom. Now that's what I call hospitality!

As for the beer, well, it's pretty darn good given the 3.2% limit Utah has to work with. Not an impressive selection by any means, but the 6-tap selection was all brewed by Pinnacle. The hefeweizen was surprisingly full-bodied, and while the Apricot and Raspberry wheat were made with syringes of fruit syrup, they were still very tasty and thirst-quenching. The pale ale was fairly hoppy, too, and all had substantially rocky heads that left impressive lacing on their respective pints (unlike every Uinta beer I've come across). Price was cheap-ish.

Growlers were available to go.
