Had this on tap in June 2009 at Mt. Hood Brewing. The colour was a medium golden with very little head. The aroma was gently hoppy but not much else. The palate had a very unpleasant sour taste with some hops, malt and cereal along for the ride. Not especially enjoyable! (271 characters)

Poured from tap at the brewery.

Pours with a bright copper hue though little noticeable lace or head. Lean aromatics, very similar to many commercial pale ales (lighter than Sierra Nevada for example). Very light on the palate with low bitterness, though more potent than their blonde. Good balance though on the light side for a pale ale.

Passable. (351 characters)

On tap at Henry's in Portland.

Appearance: clear yellowish orange with a 1" head that lingers a bit. Some spotty lacing develops during the session.

Smell: light citrus is all that you pick up.

Taste: this sports a nice malt level. Caramel, hint of orange, a bit of green apple, and a very mild bitterness rounds it out. Not overwhelming but better than the average APA.

Mouthfeel: crisp throughout. Short aftertaste containing some citrus and a bit of bitterness. Medium bodied.

Drinkability: easy drinking session beer. Flavors are mild which would allow some nice food pairings. (597 characters)

On tap at the skyway bar and grille in Zigzag.
Clear orange with a white head with good retention and nice lacing. Nose is excellent. Soft fruity hops, citrusy bright and redolent. Orange blossoms are present. Palate opens with a soft hop flavor, juicy oranges, a touch of pine, perfectly bittered and with just a hint of a light cotton candy malt sweetness. Medium light in body, moderately carbonated with a delicious fruity finish this is great stuff. (456 characters)

This is a fall seasonal, which I drank on tap at the brewpub on the very last day of summer. It is unique in its flavor design in that it begins with a bright, fresh hop flavor that pivots into a dominant malty finish. It is presented as unfiltered and clouded in a dull copper color and has an enticing malt sugar aroma. It is also produced with organic ingredients.

I found this beer to be stylistic, satisfying, charismatic, and very drinkable. Quality through and through. (480 characters)
