A - yep - red. About as red as I've seen a red ale

S - Earthy sweet caramel malts.

T - Caramel goodness and a sour cherry blast gives has to a hoppy finish with lingering sweetness. Leaving you with the feel that you just ate a big cherry cheesecake in a glass

M - While a bit of fizz, overall it's creamy smooth

If you can take a little sweet, this works well as a superior clean crafted red toned dessert brew.

Pours clear, ruby red, with 1/2 inch head. Taste is toasted malt, light breadiness, with herbal hops. This makes for a slightly above average, sessionable red ale that is good enough to try, but not rush out for.

Enjoyed from the bottle in a snifter from my doctor friend---Thanks Chris!

This ale pours a medium ruby red with a beautiful head of foam that dissipates to a thick layer and ring with excellent lacing. Nose if weak---a dash of sweet malt, some grains, and a touch of hops. Flavors follow the nose with a medium hopped lightly sweet ale with a lightly bitter hop and grain flavor to the aftertaste. Solid and sessionable, especially on a hot day, but nothing too outstanding. Crisp and highly carbonated mouth feel. Decent

a: served in a shaker pint glass, medium amber in color, light layer of carbonation and some spotty lacing

s: sweet caramel malt, quite biscuity, mild grassy/herbal hop aromas

m: carbonation light-moderate, body the same with a slight sugary slickness

t: opens with sweet caramel, some flavors of sugary light fruits, crackery/biscuit malt, hops mild with a dry grassy flavor

o: certainly pretty plain but not a bad option, the biscuity malt is nice and the beer drinks well as a whole

A nice session beer or one to have with food. This one was a brew of the month selection at the Green Parrot in Va Beach VA. Good hazy reddish/amber color. Medium size white head, fades fast, minimal lacing.

Smell is mild - sweet caramel and bready malts. Taste features sweet malt with a little bitterness at the end.Overall nice blend of flavors and a great partner with seafood.

Mouthfeel is average, a little rich and a little crispness. Drinkability is good, well balanced - not too sweet and low enough abvto enjoy with food.

Nioe to see a local brewery featured in a Tidewater VA establishment. A pretty good beer!!!

This was good, epecially seeing as how I don't usually care too much for Ambers. Simple malt character, very very mild hops. The malt sweetness was pretty strong. Smooth and drinkable. I'd have it again, but not really my style...

I have this on tap at o Connor every time I go there which is frequently. This is my go to beer. Poured in a typical pint glass it is a nice red Amber color. It is crisp and refreshing. This is by far o Connors best beer. Ask them to mix red nun with great dismal black ipa it's called a checkerboard, I also recommend this.

Served on tap at O'Connor Brewing Company. Pours a nice ruby red into the glass with decent head and lacing. Smell, however, is very faint and I'm not getting much at all except faint malt. Taste, however is pretty good, with a nice tart quality I like. Mouthfeel is also good, with a smooth fullness on the tongue. This is a pretty solid offering from OBC.
