Stopped in here based on BA reviews and was not disappointed. It was about 3 in the afternoon and I had wrapped up work early and decided to check it out.

Walked in to a long bar with a bunch of tap handles, tons of seating. I had asked for outdoor seating. They have about 6 public house style tables and 10 tables outside. So if you are waiting for an outside seat, it'll priobably be a while. Not to mention its right on the main drag so it is noisy but it is private.

Selection was decent. With 40 draft lines, there was a style for everyone. Word to the wise. Don't read off the fancy drink menu, its outdated and they have a separate sheet now. I may have caught it on off day (Monday) but there was very little local beer on draft. I was lucky to grab a Lakewood Mole Temptress on draft...

Food was decent. It's kind of like a tapas place with beer. Not cheap but decent portions.

Service was spot on. Which was probably due to the hour I was here. So YMMV.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend it and would be back in a heartbeat. I wish I had another night to come back.

Visted Dallas for a conference and had a chance to check out the Moth on a Friday night. Parking: valet or do what we did and use the free lot a block away. Very cool exterior. We didn't have reservations, so there was a 1.5 hr wait for a table...good thing we like to eat at the bar ;-)

Took us about 15 min of hovering (enough time to check out the monster tap selection) to get prime seats at the bar. We were greeted quickly and drinks and food arrived promptly. Had the duck wings and steak tartare...very good! Beers were phenomenal...Prarie Bomb was a nice treat for a Michigander!

Prices were what I would expect for the selection, menu and atmosphere. Primarily a younger crowd. Good music. Gave a lower rating for service since it seemed like forever in between rounds, even though we were smack dab in the middle of the bar. Found our bartender (and fellow Beeradvocate member) quite knowledgeable about beer. Looking forward to my next trip to Dallas!
