Appearance: Clear and light amber color with a small white head, faint lacing, and slight carbonation that was scarcely noted in the mouth feel.
Aroma: Toasted malt with strong citrus hops.
Taste: Taste begins with extravagant citrus hops. Fairly solid toasted malts prevail throughout the taste. Finishes with strong and distinctive grapefruit hops.
Mouth feel: Relatively thin for the style.
Drinkability/notes: The brewer describes this beer as an American Brown Ale.
Sampled at the Texas Craft Brewers Festival on June 7th, 2003.
Serving type: on-tap
