Had on tap at Mad Mex in Monroeville.
Pretty nice amber color with a creamy white head that fell to a solid thin cap on top. Not much lacing at all. A swirl around the glass builds the head back up to a creamy foam.
Smell is good but nothing in your face. Citrusy hops in the back. A bit of caramel malt sweetness.
Taste was very surprising. From the aroma I wouldn't have expected this much hoppiness. Very bold hop flavor. Citrus, citrus, and more citrusy. Bubble gum comes to mind. Backed up with caramel malt sweetness. Super bitter but I don't mind that at all. Bitterness sticks in the back of the throat and lingers.
Mouthfeel was up to par. Pretty nice. Medium body and maybe pushing chewy. Creamy finish. Perfect carbonation.
Drinkability is kinda not too high cuz after one I was pretty content. Filled me up and the bitterness was enough after one. Solid IPA if your gonna just have one beer. I wouldn't session with it though. ABV was unknown but I would guess 7%ish cuz I definitely felt it.
I'd ge it again. Nice beer to get on tap.

Cute label art of two smiling anthropomorphic hops
a: Clear copper, finger thick offwhite head receded to thin even surface foam and dense lacing.
t: Caramel malt followed by plenty of piney hop bite. Bitterness lingers on the tongue.
m: Medium with good body and plenty of carbonation tingle.
o: Bitter is the watchword, caramel malt is overwhelmed by it, but it does deliver satisfying Chinookie..
