Happy to try this great PA IPA from Full Point, my first entry from them. Nice aggressive hop flavor, and well balanced. Nicely done!

Just opened one of these.
Drinking straight from the bottle.
ABV says 7.1%

Smell is very pungent, the chinook hops are very extreme and citrusy.

First sip is extremely overwhelming.
The bitterness might be too much on this one.

As the bottle warmed up, the floral aroma grew on me.

By the last sip this beer was much more pleasant.

If you like a really hoppy beer, this one will surprise you.

Very bitter, but worth it.

Pours cloudy, noticeably dark at the end of the pour as all the little yeasty beasts head for the glass. Color is that of honey with orange throughout. Small head (mostly from the restrained pour), off-white produces little lacing before dropping to a chunky film.
Smell is citrus and piney hops up front with some malt hanging around in the background with a touch of sweetness.
Taste is evergreen hops, malt, fresh cut wood (resin), light citrus, and something different, maybe a hint of caramel(?).
Medium body up front quickly shifts to much fuller. Effervescence is more relaxed than most IPAs these days. Warming after the swallow but dry from the get-go.
