Served from bottle to pint glass.

Pours a solid copper brown color with slight head.Notes of malty, chocolates, and some sweet caramels hit the nose.Tastes of a typical brown ale, but still worthy of interests as a nice hop aroma with Warrior and Fuggles comeing out.A very nice collaboration beer with all the talents there I cant wait for the next in line.

Not much of a head, bartender may have wanted to give me a full pour.

Clear amber color. Not too light, but with a nice glow.

Delicious taste. Flavorful, caramel overtones that lingered on the palette. Smell was rich, chocolatey.

Felt full in the mouth, but carbonation light.

An excellent unexpected find.

A: A rigidly firm beige head sits above a autumn orange colored body. Fine misty carbonation within, soapy pocket voids along the vessel walls with a big sloppy dispaly of foam work for lacing.

S: Toasted grain sweetness with a slight hint of chocolate. Hops are very reserved here, malt depth is ok per style just a bit linear in aromatic features.

T: Sweet speciality grains, cherry malt with some fruity fruggel hop notes are first impressions. Late hit of chocolate is very evident, sweet, with a spicy piney-chocolate combination finish.

M: Frothy mouthful, spicy, good rate of carbonation within a medium-full body. Husky feel.

O: Overall sweet, fruity, somewhat chocolately not your typical american/west coast citrus style, but a generally good flavor none the less.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – As the name would suggest the beer pours a nice amber color with a one finger just off white head. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma is sweet of toffee and caramel with a little bit of a roasted bready smell as well. Along with these aromas are some lighter notes of earthy nature and a lighter cocoa smell.

Taste – The taste is sweet and bready upfront with lots of caramel and a lightly roasted bread tastes. The caramel takes on a little bit of a toffee flavor as the taste advances. Some grainy tastes come to the tongue a bit later and are joined by some flavors of an earthy and nutty nature more toward the end. Even with the earthy and nutty flavors, the sweet from the beginning remains the strongest of the tastes with it mingling well with the rest to produce a smooth somewhat wee-heavy like flavor to be left on the tongue.

Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is medium both in terms of its thickness and creaminess as well as its carbonation level; the combination making for a very easy drinking brew.

Overall – A nice easy drinking, a little on the sweeter more caramel side brew that is quite enjoyable.

Beautiful amber color with a glow, but the head isn't much at all.

Caramel malt aromas smell sweet and a little grainy. Has a cereal tone. Hops are light, and a little pine-y. Okay.

Follows the nose with sweet caramel malt notes, crisp toffee, ale yeast, and very light floral/pine hop character. Decent.

Drinks okay. Has a bit of body, too, but I'm not a fan of the obviousness of the alcohol. Carbonation is squelched a bit, but has a light sizzle.

A decent beer in a vast style. I used to enjoy two or three of these in one night, but it's lost its luster.

This brew pours a solid, opaque amber color with a fluffy tan one finger head which dissipates fairly quickly however remnants of the head stay on top of the brew until the end. Light lacing on the glass. Good carbonation.

The smell is sweat malts and peat moss, kind of like a Scottish Ale. Slight alcohol/boozy smell sweet and roasted malts and a caramel smell

The taste follows the nose with sweet the roasted malts hitting the tongue the peat moss then a caramel taste. Light piney hops on follow on the backend.

The mouthfeel is tangy, probably due to the carbonation. Creamy and slightly oily on the backend after swallowing.

Overall this is a good, solid Amber/Red ale. Very drinkable at any time of the day or year and one worth trying.

This beer is positively clear and amber with a thin white head and a cool stalactite / stalagmite lacing pattern!

The aroma is like caramel malts mixed with date bread and a tiny bit of chocolate. It's a very alluring combination!

Just as the nose the flavour is caramel malty in character, grainy with notes of dark fruit. It starts off a bit bready and grainy and mid way it evolves into a malty sip and then finishes with some earthy hop bitterness which is actually a bit dry which makes this beer fairly complex!

The mouthfeel is moderate to full bodied, a little slick, and sweet transitioning to dry. Very nice! The carbonation is moderate making this a perfect beer!

Overall I find this beer exceptional and would recommend it to anyone, even someone new to craft beer as it would be a great crossover to one that has a little bit of hop bitterness to lure them in to the world of IPA's.
