Pours a murky golden color with an off white head. Strong scents of citrus zest and biscuits. The taste also had hints of lemon and orange, yeast. Some spices such as clove and a hint of black pepper are evident in the flavor, but not over powering. Very well balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is smooth. Normally I am not a huge witbier fan but I was very impressed with this one.

12 oz bottle was poured into a hefeweizen glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy golden straw yellow with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.

Smell: Vanilla, bready wheat, citrus, orange peel, vanilla, and yeasty esters.

Taste: Tastes just like it smells. A little bitterness In there too.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, refreshing, a little chewy, and low to medium carbonation.

Overall: Pretty nice witbier. Enjoyable and tasty. I could have more of these.

(LOT 444 - best by July 2014 - poured into a British pint)

A: yellow like the first rays of the morning sun... pretty dang clear for a Wit - still a slight haze... very little head - wonder why that is - doesn't look right... btw - the bottle label (as are the rest of their labels) is right out of the ol' Weyerbacher portfolio, not quite as wonderfully cheezy though

S: the smell is pretty textbook, very appealing... nice balance of doughy wheat, toasted cereal malt, mild coriander, and light citrus overtones

T: once again, pretty good up front... the brightness of the outer skin of the citrus peel seems to come out more... bit of a penny-metallic twang at the back... coriander sits calmly in the middle with a moderate biscuity pale malt flavor underneath... mild bitterness, seeming to wear a shade of coriander husk... pretty dry, lacking a bit of depth, but still surprisingly flavorful

M: at first, a tad thin... still feels a tad thin and flat by the end - wonderfully crush-able though

O: i gotta admit - actually pretty well done... was growing on me by the end

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass - swirled some in bottle to get yeast out

A. Nice straw colored beer, poured clear with decent head, clouded once added yeast from bottom of bottle. Decent lacing
S. Nice fruity smell. Right on for style
T. Excellent flavor with spice profile coming through. Well balanced between the fruity esters.
M. Nice mouthfeel, average carbonation
O. Very good beer in the wit class. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely have another.
