Dollar bin from dry tavern. This is an unusual IPA... Malty and the smell is yeasty? I can't really describe the smell. This beer is okay, but not one that I would seek out.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is muddied copper, not a pleasant haziness - almost murky. Head is off white to light tan in color, good lacing on the glass after 1/2 inch presentation.
Smell is a little yeasty, then muddled hoppiness/bitterness, the an off note - maybe some butteryness
Taste is similar to the aroma muddled hoppy flavors, yeasty, slightly off with a buttery and phenolic note.
Mouthfeel is moderate, bitterness is not mouthnumbing, and sweetness is not cloying.
Overall an off beer, that might have exceeded its prime causing some of the off notes, but the base still seems to have balance/flavors that are strong/harsh.

Best by 22.05.16:
Pours hazed golden with a fluffy lasting head. Lacing sticks
The smell is of pine, floral spicing, citrus, some caramel.
The taste is of grapefruit, pine, floral hop spice. Honey backs it up and keeps the hops flavorful without being too bitter. Black pepper and herbal spice in the dry finish.
Smooth despite bitter bite in the finish.
A hop-forward brew with honey-sweetness in the back. An enjoyable IPA!

Look: Pours a deep, opaque orange-yellow. Two-finger fluffy head with great retention and nice lacing throughout.
Aroma: Pine cone, slight pineapple, citrus, fresh cut grass, and other floral scents.
Taste: Definitely resinous pine initially, followed by some citrus (pineapple, grapefruit) zest and tropical spice. The malt supports the flavor profile overall.
Mouthfeel: Almost has the character of wet hops up front, but that quickly yields to a dry, resin-filled bitterness and malt which ultimately seems fairly unbalanced and harsh. Hides the alcohol exceptionally well, though.
