I always make a point of stopping in here when in Burlington, even if it's just for dessert and a stout.
Modern and lofty inside the main floor with a fairly large outdoor patio adjacent to the sidewalk. Downstairs it's more of a traditional and cozy pub feel with lots of wood and a plethora of boardgames to play- Great place in the winter.
Have about 25 tap offerings of mostly good, local, Vermont beer with usually a Californian, Belgian, German, and some other quality regional New England offerings. From Vermont you can usually count on Trapp, Hill Farmstead, Lawsons, and Otter Creek on-tap, however, I always find Hill Farmstead and especially Lawsons to be out whenever I'm here (not surprisingly I guess). Never ventured to their beer menu but it looks solid with some vintaged offerings.
Service never seems to be an issue here, with prompt service and staff always eager to recommend something for the style you're into.
The food is quite good, with unique and local ingredients always incorporated into the menu. Can't go wrong with any of their cheese boards, salads, or burgers. It seems I always end up here for dessert which never disappoints.
Prices for food are likely on the higher side for Burlington even though it is quality food, but their on-tap offerings are decently priced.
If you're in Burlington for a night or two this place is a definite must-visit. There's bound to be something in their on-tap or menu list that'll satisfy you along with good food to boot.
