My home away from home. I can't speak highly enough about what this classy dive has to offer.

The High Dive is a great craft beer bar. They have 20 some taps with lots of great stuff rotating thru. You can almost always find one or two San Diego IPAs on tap (yesterday it was Ballast Point Sculpin, Coronado Islander, and Eagle Rock IPA). Almost no crap on tap (they have one handle for Bud Lite), and great happy hour prices starting at 3 PM. They also have the Ballast Point spirits (rum, vodka, and gin) available if you’ve been wanting to try them without buying a bottle.

Food is good, mostly standard pub grub (burgers, sandwiches and salads) with some daily specials. Breakfast is great, and served till 1 PM on weekends. Pizzas in the evening (after 5 PM ) are pretty good too. Definitely a casual atmosphere, and seating both inside and out. On a nice day there is a great breeze from Mission Bay so the outside are is cool. Service is great, and most servers seem to know something about the beers being served.

A worthwhile stop if you are looking for a nice beer selection and some good pub grub!

Love what's going on at the High Dive these days. Cask night every Tuesday and a staple of great local brews + some rotating taps that have been pretty interesting. I had some Ballast Point "Sculpin" there recently as well as "Victory At Sea" and Port Brewing "Mongo". Pair it up with great food and a staff that is stoked to be getting into more interesting beer and you've got a winner in my book. They also have some killer pinball machines that are a lot of fun and a great patio to enjoy the happy hour sunset on.
A weekly stop for me.

The High Dive is a neighborhood type bar with a decent tap list, Amazing Krew, Awesome Atmosphere and Tasty Food!!! If you are in the BayPark area and want to go to a cool some what low key place... then this is the spot for you. The tap list and bottle list has many west coast gems on a regular basis... is it a full on Beer Bar for us that Geek out on crazy craft beers.... nah not really. But if those crazy beer bars had the other X factors the High Dive has... they'd be known world wide. This bar is an experience... cool people, good food and good beer!! What more do ya need???
