Pours red with an off white head. Aroma is quite toasty, biscuit, a little spicey, and jammy. Flavor followed suit with just a touch of some hops in the finish that cuts things quite nicely. Medium bodied mouthfeel.. Overall, a very nice Irish Red here. Would drink again.

A clear deep red. Bubbly head that subsides after a few sips.
Smells of malty goodness - different toasted malts blend together but caramel takes the show.
Taste follows nose. Has a modest biscuit flavor that accompanies the malt quite well. Bitter hops remind you that this beer isn't just malts.
Full body carries the beer excellently. Low carbonation suits this beer so so well. Quite pleasant all the way empty. Impressive feel to this.
I enjoyed this beer a lot. It's such a pleasure having a good irish red in the land of a thousand amber ales. I would love to see this brew's grain bill. Well done.

Served cold in an imperial pint glass at the brewery. I was happy to see the success Equinox had with this beer at GABF and have been looking forward to trying it for myself.
O'Rion is a beautiful shade of ruby red with great clarity. The head is thick, creamy, but short lived. It does leave some nice lace though.
Aroma is sweet and slightly fruity like a red apple.
Flavor is really nicely done. Great malt sweetness with caramel, biscuit, and lightly toasted malt. Very mildly hopped with a slightly earthy quality. The Scottish yeast adds a nice nuance.
Mouthfeel is medium-light in body and nice low carbonation. Well balanced and easy drinking.
Overall a really well done Irish red ale. Worthy of the accolade.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a reddish-copper color with a dirty white head. Aromas of toasted malt and caramel. On the palate, this one was medium bodied, with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and toffee.
