A: Dark amber color, single width head. The head is off white and leaves a little bit of lacing behind.
S: Malt is obvious initially with some alcohol present underneath.
T: Grainy taste, with the aforementioned malt dominating.
M: Medium-bodied, nothing more of note.
D: Tastes like most ambers which isn't a bad thing, but nothing really distinguishes it.

A nice, easy to drink, above average amber. It pours the color you would expect, an amber with some orange tints. A medium head that fades fast and leaves ok lacing. Great clarity.
The aroma is of caramels and pine. Nice hoppy smell balances with the rich caramels. A little toast, and nuttiness.
The flavor is a bit hoppier than your regular amber ale, which helps make it stand out a bit. Nice piney and floral notes really take this caramel backbone to balance.
The overall opinion on this is a very drinkable, and interesting twist on the average amber.

On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a nice orange color with a nice off-white head. Aromas of toasted malt, caramel and earth. On the palate, this one is light to medium bodied, with flavors of caramel, toasted malt and earth.

Pours a wooden amber with an off white head.Nice retention on the sides. Aroma is caramel, bread, and a touch of pine. Flavor is doughy and caramel, a hint of some lemon, and some pine. A mediom body to this thing. Overall, pretty average amber. Drinkable, but forgetable.
