Visited last Thursday at around 1 pm...

A: Nice spot... seems like a restaurant first, I guess, but it works. The bar has some places to sit, then there's a bunch of long picnic tables inside, and some smaller tables. Pretty roomy deck as well, for people watching. Speakers throughout that call you when your food order is ready.

Q + Selection: Pretty damned impressive... lots of their own beers, and then about equally as many guest taps. I had a Goldmember, While the Wife's Away IPA, and something else I can't remember... anyway, they were really tasty.

Service: The bartender was great... very friendly, helpful with beer selection and picking out a shirt... no complaints at all.

Food: Split some garlic buddies and a pizza, both were really tasty. A lot of the pizza looked great, actually.

Value: Very reasonable, for both beer AND food.

O: A great spot... definitely worth making the trip from downtown. (920 characters)

A huge selection of Pizza Port beers and a handful of guest tap lines. Pizza looked amazing. This location is kind of small, but I dug the family style picnic tables. (168 characters)

I think I have been to all of the Pizza Port joints, and this is similar to the rest of them, just located in a different neighborhood. Smaller than the majority, but still good to go. Good pizza, great beer, open seating, and good service. I used to live in Ocean Beach, so of course, I recommend this place. (311 characters)

Food matches the beer. It's in OB cmon... 25-35 on tap. Lots of guests beers. AND... if you have never had PP beers... They dont bottle much, they share kegs with all 5 locations, always a brown, stout, something BA, a quad, a sour.... They have more current recepies than most. They have been at it longer than most and have got it down. (342 characters)

Pizza Port OB was a great stop. More selection than the Carlsbad location, but getting beer was rough. They have one place to order beers and the line got to 20+ people for most of our visit. Service was fine once you made it to the front of the line.

Pizza was great and the vibe was cool - definitely a beach town feel.

Despite the long lines ill go back whenever I get the chance! (386 characters)

I used to scoff on the Pizza Port operations just because I would be relegated to the Solana Beach location which is by far the worst in terms of well.... everything. Ocean Beach is by far the best and being in the most stonerish area of San Diego, well it's a match made in Gomorrah!

Piss pour picnic middle school lunch seating but outside the vibes are nice. You can smoke, sit with your dog, drink killer beers, and eat some unique pizzas. The OB pizza is by far the best. This one also has the best selection of beers often times with good guest beers like Angel's Share and Alpine stuff. Beer/pizza is a bit pricey.

Walking distance to the beach. Very nice. (668 characters)

Lots of beers on taps, including a bunch of house brews and lots of guest brews. The pizza is great. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and you can't beat the location right next to the beach. (192 characters)
