App: Gradient golden hue, almost like that of cider. Very thing head with little to no lacing.
Smell: Peppery, thin aroma, almost like that of wintergreen. Overall unpleasant.
Taste: Not as spicy as expected from aroma. Has a good, crisp tartness to it, but overall not a lot of saison kick. Lingering acidic bitterness like that of a granny smith peel. Complex and unpleasant, fading to a sort of artificial twinge.
Mouth: Thin and almost watery. Medium carbonation, and very light on the tongue like cider.

Poured from a 24oz bomber, into two glasses of the pokal shape, this beer is a beautiful on style hazy yellow.

Smell, straight outta the gate I smell garbage, not knockin it but it took a minute to get my sniffer right. After you get over the garbage smell I do smell sour apples with clove and ginger in the mix as well.

Taste, Is definitely on par for a sour saison, it has the lacto sour and the up front, and mellow saison in the middle with more garbage for the finish.

This is an ok beer and im glad i tried it it cut the heat from my spicy spaghetti and meat balls.

Appearance-Yellow to pale gold out of the glass with a foam that dissipates quickly.

Smell-The name is pretty self-explanatory. I get a lot of sour apples and not a whole lot else.

Taste-Sour apple, bitter stone fruit.

Mouthfeel-Good light body and a long finish.

Overall-If I'm drinking beer on a hot day, it needs to be something like this.

This pours a crystal clear golden straw - quite pale! I'm not used to my saisons being this clear. It appears very much like an unsherried single malt that has not been inflicted with caramel colouring.

The smell is festive and wonderful - heavy clove notes, lots of tart green apple. Cinnamon.

The taste is similar - the apple is really quite sour, not funky at all, just acidic and very tart. Clove, cinnamon are there from the start and the ginger spiciness really comes through towards the finish.

I really quite like the festive spice blend, strong sour apple notes, and saison body and yeast profile. The flavours are pretty intense though and I wouldn't drink this regularly for that reason - very nice once and a while though.
