Poured into taster (4 oz) at Belmont Station:
Pours hazy Belgian hue with decent lace.
Really smells of peaches with some yeast and spice notes. Pretty simple and to the point. Palate confirms but is lightly flavored by the peach. Almost disappointing.
Average texture and good grip, short finish.
Overall a nice idea, but falls short on several fronts.

Batch #25 (brewed Nov. 7, 2012; bottled Apr. 30, 2013) bomber into oversized burgundy glass at fridge temp, allowed to warm.
Look: monster head that just won't quit, super-active carb. Peachy color.
Smell: Belgian yeast, peaches, maybe a hint of oak.
Taste: lots of Belgian yeast esters, black pepper, with a decent hint of peaches in the background. Not getting any barrel character, nor any Champagne, and barely any sour.
Feel: creamy. Not too dry. Pretty good.
Overall: not sure how the year in the bottle treated this as I never got to try it fresh, but this seems better than its BA score would indicate. If you want a peach bomb or a sour, look elsewhere, but if you want a beer that highlights Belgian yeast with a hint of complementary peachiness, this should do nicely.
