It pours a very oddly bright yellow color with almost no head somehow.
Smell is very sour and a bit yeasty. From the smell, this could be just a brett beer.
Flavor is where that peach comes in. It is both tart and sour with an obviously fruity taste. Tastes more like a plum than a peach, but whatever. It is insanely light. I don't know how that is even possible in a beer like this. Effervescence is not overpowering, which is good because it's those small bubbles, y'know? I suppose that "small bubble" feeling is probably a result of the insanely light body and lack of head. If you're looking for something fruity, but not overpoweringly sweet, this is pretty great. I'm not tasting much of the oak aging, but that might be because it was apparently aged in Chardonnay bottles (didn't say that on my bottle, but I saw that in the description on here). It does taste a little like white wine, for sure. ABV on mine was 11.3, so I'm drinking it on a Friday. Gonna be great. For a beer done in batches that slightly differ from each other, this bottle was oddly not dated. I assume it's from 2014, though. If you want something real tart and real strong (though there's not a strong alcohol taste), definitely give this a try.

Draft, sampler glass

A – Golden straw, a bit of white head with low retention. Very clear.

S – Light peaches, bread dough. Some light floral hops.

T – Light peaches and chardonnay grapes. Very mild hops, floral variety.

M – Lightly carbonated, a bit on the sweet side. Slightly acidic, a bit of a bite.

O – Very reliant on the chardonnay character, leans way more towards the wine character.

Release #48. Poured from a bomber into a snifter, the beer is a bright, hazy, orange-gold coloring with a minimal white halo of surface head. Aromas of subtle peach, woody notes, earthy backbone, and some Belgian funk. Subtle nose overall, but inviting. Flavors are tart and sweet forward, with a rich peach note front and center. Subtle sourness in the backbone, layered with wood and funk. There is some yeast funk, horseblanket, and herbal tones, too. Pretty balanced and tasty. The body is smooth to start, but between the carbonation and the overall dry feel, it gets pretty crisp into the finish. The aftertaste is rich fruit sweetness. Very drinkable, tasty beer.
