Appearance – This is a gorgeous, hazy yellow in color with a big, beautiful head that showed fantastic retention. This is exactly how a beer should look.
Smell – The grain is clean with some light, leafy hops. Overall the aroma is rightly understated with none of that disgusting sweetness typical of lesser efforts.
Taste – The grain is nice and pure at the tongue. If the APLs are our best effort at a Euro-style pilsner than this is a home run. It has that light, refreshing summertime taste that you look for in the style and it is impeccably balanced. There’s even a faint lemon zest note here that sparks up the flavor profile.
Mouthfeel – This is light-bodied with a lively carbonation and very quenching.
Drinkability – There’s no one thing here that blew my socks off but it is more of a symphony on display. It is amazingly balanced, quite refreshing, and approachable to just about any drinker.
PS: This is Release #4.

A nice summer time beer for hop heads! I love the bright hoppy flavors paired with such a light and effervescent pils. Certainly not the most authentic beer, but definitely worth a try if you like hops and are looking for a refreshing, low-alcohol alternative to IPA. Like most light lagers, it is a bit underrated on BA because too many people have hang ups about this style. Just because something is in the same family as a PBR or Bud doesn't mean it's bad!

poured 12oz can into snifter.
A - Straw yellow in color with a 2 finger white creamy head. Decent retention and lacing.
S - A nice mix of earthy, grassy hops, grainy, and light lemons dominate the nose. I pick up hints of another fruit like aroma.
T - The hops are earthy, grassy, with a mild herbal, strawberry like flavor that really brings it together. Notes of some light grain, citrus, and lemon zest on the finish.
M - Light body, crisp, smooth finish with good carbonation. Great brew to drink in the summer.
O - This was a fun lager style beer to drink that has some distinct and unique flavors. I thought that they all came together really well and could enjoy this beer any hot day.
