A- SLightly hazy pale yellow. Head is thin, but leaves quite a bit of lacing on the glass.
S- Smell is relatively clean but there is just a bit of citrus aromas in there. Some spicyness too. But a clean aroma is the predominant charactersitic here.
T- Taste is initially pretty clean as well, sweet grains. In the finish the flavors really show, with a spicy and citric aftertaste, spice moreso than citrus. This is how a lager can be clean and still have flavor.
M-Pretty light and clean on the tongue. Could have used a boost in carbonation I think. Dry finish, however.
O- By American Pale Lager standards this is near the top. I would gladly pick this up for tailgating, or as my beer for over the course of a night. It doesn't push the boundaries quite so much as it advertises, but it still tastes good and that's what counts.

The beer pours out a slightly hazy golden straw color, with 1 finger of white head---------- the aromas are of grass/floral, bread dough, and soap---------- the flavors follow the nose with that bread dough and grassy noble hops, the beer has a thin mouthfeel finishing light and crisp-------- overall this beer was nice, it has a nice doughy malt backbone with a big dose of those noble hops-

Poured into a balloon glass.

Look: Hazy straw yellow colored body under a white head that recedes to a light film. Random dots and vertical lines of lacing.

Aroma: Hay, dried grass, lemongrass, and citra hops.

Taste: Dried bread and grains before a plethora of dried grass, hay, and lemon peel.

Mouthfeel: Dry and medium bodied.

Overall: Not normally my style but the citrus helps make it more drinkable.

12 ounce can. Straw colour, slightly hazy, long lasting foam. Pilsner noble hop and bready nose. Noble hops kick it up front, kinda fade mid palate, bread malt moves in. Light bodied. Tasty for the most part. The 4.5 %abv I do appreciate.

Gold, nice hue, adequate hop aroma, nice pils middle ad finish--4.2 ABV makes it infinitely drinkable. A pleasant little pils--this is not a lager in taste but in yeast match only.

Poured from the can into a Belgian tulip. ID on the bottom of the can reads: 3049, 11339. No date present.

Pours a cloudy, pale, straw yellow with a white, frothy head that dissipates moderately. There is a type of white sediment present at the bottom of the glass that almost looks like sand.

Smells almost like sea water, with a hint of lager yeast. Very off putting and not characteristic of the lager style.

Tastes hoppy at first but finishes more like an ale. There really isn't a clean finish that you get from a lager, but more of a fruit forward finish like that of an ale.

Mouthfeel begins with a lot of carbonation on the tongue and then does leave a slightly pleasant hop bitterness, but then finishes kind of flat with a dryness that's not so pleasant.

Overall this isn't my favorite lager by any means. I've had many hoppy lagers before and this is not something I would seek out again. Hopefully they work on improving this one.

Cheers,
WB
