This definitely isn't an APA; it's something like an American marzen. Poured from a bomber into a pint glass, this is a crisp amber color. Nothing much on the aroma, maybe some toasted sweet notes. Taste is malt-forward, crisp and clean, with maybe just a touch of bitterness on the finish.

Beer #50 in my great Utah Brew Hunt.

Wet hopped with amarillo. Dry hopped with citra. I wouldn't have minded the reverse on that.

There is quite an earthy tone to this. Very rustic and earthy with a mature "bright" tone to it. The wet hops are very interestingly wrapped around the beer in that they don't overpower things or get obnoxious or ridiculous. The character they provide is subtle.

A very rustic beer overall and an interesting way to use wet hops. I can dig it.
