Pours a 2 finger yellowed head over a hazed light golden liquid. Smells green onion/wild garlic cheesy, lemony, dank piney, baby aspirin. Yuck, these hops sat on the bine too long at harvest and got nasty. If you are the brewer and don't understand this, drop me a note.
Tastes dank pine, dank onion garlic, bright lemony. Baby aspirin, orange, cheesy hop that will only worsen very quickly. Astringent hop sour and bitter. Supporting malt sweet is right if the beer had been well-made, but these hops blast over everything. I think some esters are present, but lost under the hop brutal. Astringent finish, medium in the mouth, medium carbonation. Overall, meh.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden copper with a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass. There's some big chunky floaties.
The aroma is biscuity malts with grassy, minty hops.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts and some minty soapiness with a big grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it's got a lot of bitterness, but I don't like the hop flavor or the biscuit malt.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a tall pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. About two fingers of white head which slowly fade into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a decent amount of lacing.
Smell: A fruity and herbal hop forward aroma with good hints of citrus fruit and pine. Upfront citrus hops with hints of orange, grapefruit, mango, lemon, pineapple, tangerine, peach, and melon. Earthy and herbal hops with hints of grass and pine resin. Solid malt backing with hints of caramel, grains, cracker, and yeast. A pretty solid hoppy aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and herbal hop driven taste with big notes of citrus fruit and pine. Citrus hops with some upfront notes of orange pulp, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, peach, and melon. Earthy, herbal, and floral hops with some notes of pine resin and grass. Backing presence of malt with notes of cracker, caramel, grains, and yeast. A pretty nice juicy taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy and pretty smooth with a drying finish.
Overall: A pretty good take on a IPA. Nice orange juice flavor along with some other fruit.

On the can it says brewed and packaged in Denver, CO. I thought Epic was based out of Utah, that may have changed. These new cans look great I grabbed a sixer without thought, I'm glad I did. Pale copper slight chill haze birght white head, fine even layered lacing. Aroma has sugar coated hops, tropical fruit notes, candied grapefruit peel, grassy hop notes. Flavor upright bright bitter citrus based hops, Mosaic hop madness gives earthy, dank, mango, citric, and killer tropical fruit hop sweetness. Enough bitterness and pale malt sweetness to balance it out but this beer is all about the green hop freshness of Mosaic hops, I really like it's simplicity and execution. Mouthfeel light to medium bodied resinous hop accents, goes down easily soft carbonation bone dry finish equates to the type of beer I like to drink. Overall, it's super impressive a wonderful beer that I must find some access to it.

A very nice head caps this beer, almost completely white but with a slight yellow tint. it sits soundly at a full finger, falling but slowly and leaving some very pretty craggy lace sticking to the walls of the glass.
There's a firm hops bouquet in the nose first and foremost that showcases earth, a sort of onion-like note without the sting, almost seed-like and not exactly nutty. It's an unusual bitterness with a few of the trademarks making themselves known (some herb, too, and a faint note of citrus fruits under there if you strain) but making for a very unusual smell while remaining a pleasant one with lots of bitterness but balance as well.
It carries through in the taste but with a slight sting to it and a bit of carob just into a dry sort of finish under a little juiciness. It picks up some pith in the seedy notes as it works on the tongue.
It's a crisp and clean IPA with a moderate body, leaning less on the dry side as a juicy sweetness works the palate, but coming out stronger in the middle as well. It loses a little body at the end of each sip, but it keeps clean.
