Came here with my wife and three small kids (all under 10) for dinner. We were in town to go to Hershey Park the next day; found this place on Beer Advocate, actually. The draft selection was really impressive, with some great locals (Troegs, Weyerbacher) and beers from around the country (Tommyknocker, Mission, Ballast Point) and maybe 40 more in bottles (including Russian River, Bells, Stone and most of the others). What really sets this place apart is the people. Our server was super friendly and knowledgable about beer. When we told her that my wife was gluten- free (yes, the horrible irony of it all), she rushed back to the chef to get more options. Soon after my wife got her meal (seared tuna), the chef came out to make sure it was ok and even offered to make her a special meal next time we visited. During one of the three or so beer servings (hey, it was my 40th birthday and my wife was driving), the bartender stopped by to wish me a happy birthday and to chat about beer for a bit. Very cool place, with nice Central PA folks who can cook a mean burger (with fried egg and bacon, of course) and a tremendous beer selection. Go.

I love this place. They have the most diverse draft selection of any place on this side of Harrisburg. Plus they have a really large bottle selection too. And the food is phenomenal! From what I gather, everything is home made and you can definitely tell. I had the meatloaf and the mashed potatoes that came with it were sooo good. I don't think they change their beer line up all that often but again, better selection that the other places around. The staff was very friendly too. I love the open kitchen style with the brick over. Very cool atmosphere!

I decided to visit Brew 22 American Tavern after work for a pint. The place is well laid out and has walls of stone with a short bar in the corner as you enter. The kitchen is open with a large pizza oven in the middle. They have about 6 taps with most of them craft in the bar area. On this visit they had Troegs Pale, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Sam Adams Octoberfest and Yuengling Lager. The bottle list has around 75 bottles with about 3/4 of them craft.
I was treated well and given the specials when I was seated with a friendly approach and when I asked for the abv was given the answer, so I was happy with the service. The place is quiet and clean with low lighting to set the mood - I felt at home here. The quality of the place in general is good and the smell of fresh baked bolis made me hungry. I would prefer a couple or three more craft taps with maybe another local or two but they have some bottles that make it worth checking out if you are in the area.
The value of entrees and prices of beer in general is good -Sam Adams black lager was $3 and I got a pint of Stone for $5 but you can get 22oz servings for a couple dollars more. I will probably return to see if they rotate the taps and maybe get a taste of something from the food menu.
