Served in a goblet on tap at the brewery. Poured a very clear, golden color. Produced a thin white head, average retention and average lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma had faint hints of malted grain, bread and Belgian ale yeast. The ale was medium in body, smooth. Taste was light, slightly watered down, with some malt base and a Belgian ale yeast. Crisp beer, slightly dry finish. Overall, nothing more than average....nice session beer but not a great representative of the style.

A: Served in a Goblet at the brewhouse. Has a nice deep amber color with a small head and a bit of lacing.

S: Mild aroma of enticing sweetness and with some spice mixed in.

T: Has a nice mild flavor caramel sweetness with fruit and a bit of honey and a dry finish.

F: Fairly medium body, smooth and well balanced. No trace of the 7.6 ABV.

O: Very enjoyable, true to the style. This is not an overpowering beer but one to savor. Has that intangible something. Well worth a try.
