Growler poured into DFH pint glass. Glad to see bulkhead back into the mix. I believe they changed the recipe since last time I've had it.
Nice dark amber color. Red when held to the light.
Biscuity toasty malt quickly followed by hoppy resin, pine and citrus aromas.
Taste is very similar to the smell but is a bit more hoppy.
Medium bodied, well carbonated, decent bitterness.
Another solid offering from my favorite brewery in Long Island.
Serving type: growler

This is a pretty decent amber. Somewhat woody and earthy sweetness. Kind of leafy tone going on. It carries a good profile in the sense that it is solid and consistent, but not trying to be overly boisterous about things. Smooth feel. Fairly easy to drink. Could use the edges smoothed out a good bit really.
Serving type: on-tap
