Had on tap at whole foods Columbus circle- poured into a nonic tumbler. Pours a clear golden yellow with a finger and a half of suds, good retention and a nice wash of lacing.

Smell is mild but pleasant- sweet and a little peppery. A whiff of yeast but not too much going on here.

Taste is pretty rockin- it's a nice light saison with a real peppery and citrusy hop kick. Sweet pilsner malts throughout the beer but develop more towards the end. Nice bitterness up front followed by lots of pepper and some lemon.

Mouthfeel is great- light bodied, well carbonated; this is a super refreshing summer brew packing a punch. I'd definitely get it again.

I don't know a lot about saisons but I was excited to try this brew. It was good.

a) was golden yellow, pretty clear yellow with some nice buddle but not much head

s) smell was good, sweet but with spicy underneath

t) tasted good. not very saison-y upfront but the finish and aftertaste were complex and intriguing

M) very smooth going down

o) great beer. i'm still learning the breed.

I picked limited on the availability b/c it made me choose something...I have no idea how often this beer is available.
