You need to make a reservation to your the brewery. If You do not have one it is very difficult to get in. Upon arrival there is awesome decor in the area that you wait for the tour to begin. Old tin Yuengling signs and pabst blue ribbon signs all over, very old school, the tap area has an old school 50's style cooler doors that are wood panel. They have all their offerings in tap and whatever the seasonals happen to be. The gentleman we had giving the tour was super knowledgable and very cordial. Not only was the tour awesome but it was FREE! On top of that the tour guide offered to hang out and let us sample as many different brews as we wants to afterward. We chatted about different styles and the history of Anchor Brewing, etc. very memorable experience!!! Will be back and highly recommend going!

Last call before departing SFO.
20 oz. pint of Liberty Ale and a sourdough bowl of clam chowder, alright. The beer was cold and there were airplanes out the window. German, Japanese, and Scandinavian tourists surrounded us with a blurred auditory stew of incomprehensible languages. Music went from angsty folk into smooth jazz, so I tried to pick up a new language instead. An airport bar rarely offers much in terms of ambiance.
Bright modern U-shaped bar, glass back bar showcasing liquor mostly. Two tap towers of 4 Anchor beers each, Steam, Porter, Liberty, and Summer. Bummer, no Brekle's. Option for a 20 oz. pour was nice though.
Food was ok, some regional seafood available so that was nice to squeeze in before heading out.
Service was timely and friendly, the older waitress was accommodating and welcoming for the short time we were there. Overall i'd stop here over Gordon Biersch for the food, but would hit both for beers if time allowed.

Nice to see this located at Terminal 3 in SFO. The place is wide open and bright, as there are a wall of windows overlooking to the outside of the airport. Bar area was a decent size, and has 2 sets of the four beers on tap - Summer Ale, Liberty Ale, Porter, and Steam Beer. They had a few macro bottles availble too.
Service was so-so - pretty much what you expect at an airport bar. The glass of Anchor Steam was fresh and that was all I cared about.
Definitely a place to stop when arriving like I did needing a pick me up from a long flight, or while waiting to leave.

Made a stop for a few beers before heading back to the East Coast...
Bar is located in Terminal 3 of SFO Airport. A rather large location for an airport bar. Plenty of seats up at the bar and about 10 tables or so within the bar. Only appeared to be serving Anchor beers on tap...Liberty, Steam, Summer, Porter and a Brown ale were what I recall as being on tap. I didn't pay attention to whether or not they had a bottle list.
I'm not a huge Anchor fan to begin with, but for the airport, it was a decent spot. The service was lacking a bit...took a few minutes to place an order for a second or third beer. It did seem a bit pricey, but that's expected at an airport. I believe my check was about $25 for three larger pints, before tax and tip.
If you have time to spend at the airport, it's worth a visit. The food looked good, but I did not have an appetite while I was there to bother order anything. The few patrons I spoke with that ordered food seemed rather pleased.

The four basic products are served here, fresh, from the brewery. Only 6 bottles topping up the lineup which surprisingly, are the popular macros: Stella, Bud, etc. Decent food.Packed, without any pushiness being an irport and rowdy behaviour punishable, great location in the event of flight delays, or while waiting for the first rows to board. Not a bad sized airport bar compared to others I have seen. Well lit, as opposed to the majority which turn them down and likely to encourage drinking.A plesant palce for Terminal 3 people.
