Split the bomber, I got the second half of the bottle which pours hazy gold color with a 2 finger foamy off white head that faded slowly and left good foamy lacing coating the sides. The head stuck around for quite a while.
Smells of lemon zest, coriander, orange peel, toasted grains, honey, light caramel, wheat, clove, pepper, dry floral hops, white wine and a lot of earthy notes. The hops, wheat and peppery spices make for a nice complex nose.
Tastes of toasted grains, sweet malt, dry chalky yeast, lemon, orange peel, coriander, tangerine, clove, grapefruit, bubblegum, white pepper, Belgian sugar, citrus hops, rye or other mild spices, champagne,
and earthy notes which make this very typical for a saison. It's crisp, light and refreshing to drink, hiding the ABV and going down easy. Nice for the style, this is a session beer for me.
