A witbier from the Mercury Brewing Co. in Ipswich, MA. Bottle indicates it is flavored with "clementine, sweet orange peel, coriander and summit hops". My 22 oz bottle indicated an "end of December 2010" bottling date.
A -2 finger head quickly disappating into a thin oil slick. On first pour it was a brilliant burnt orange. A color of the sunset. Second pour a mottled orange with a dark brown hues. Both pours were cloudy and typical for an unfiltered beer. My far side finger on glass was unrecognizable. Decent carbonation.
S - Bitters with underlying aroma of fresh oranges and clementines. Not overpoweringly citrusy. Slight hit of spice. Wanted a little more citrus to come through on the nose. B-
T - More bitter than citrus although both are fairly well balanced. Initial hit is more bitter than fruity. As it remains on tongue you get a nice taste of citrus and spice. Finish is light and bitter. B
M - Light and refreshing when drinking, however, a little heavier and longer-lasting upon the swallow. Mellow carbonation makes for a nice mouthfeel. B+
D - A nice spring/summer beer. Perfect for watching a ball game or backyard grilling. Light enough to have a couple. More appropriate to drink when we have less snow and more sunshine. A-
Pairings - Ceviche, grilled seafood, hot dogs, potato salad, hot dogs.
I enjoyed this beer for its color and drinkability although I wanted the citrus to shine a bit more than it did.

Pours a very pale yellow. Has a good foamy head, but otherwise reminds me of a mass-brew. Smells of straw and yeast and spices, WTF? Not expected.
Has a slightly sour, bubbly taste with only a hint of the clementine I was promised. It's certainly light, so it would be good on a hot day.
I was expecting much more based on their good reviews. Overall, nothing special. Ok light beer + fruit but much more to say. I'd skip it.
