With a name like this, how could I pass it up?
A: Pours to a very nice hazy golden amber color. 2 fingers worth of head, winds down to a half finger of nice lacey foam that likes to cling all the way down.
S: Very aromatic. Lots of citrus tones and spice and the Belgian yeast is very noticeable. Aromas become more pronounced as the brew warms. Excellent.
T: Bitter hop notes from the get-go, more pine oriented then citrus or which is kinda of weird considering. Citrus flavors are there as well, with grapefruit and lemon bitterness along with some bready malt in there with the yeast as well. All in all the flavors are well represented and balanced here with a nice mix of all the high points of a Belgian Wheat and an IPA.
M: Light carbonation works well with the flavors here. Higher ABV leaves a dry note at the end which goes great with the bitterness and citrus flavorings.
O: Very nice and enjoyable beer all around. Looking forward to more Clown Shoes brews as the guy at my beer store keeps harping about them.

A - really nice amber color, great foamy head with pretty solid lacing around the glass
S - citrus, hops, zesty, malt, oranges, mangoes
T - taste is very similar to the smell. lots of hops, orange zest, citrus mangoes, good amount of malt
M - medium bodied, some carbonation, really nice on the palette
O - really nice beer here, you have a fantastic balance of hops and orange-citrus zest, some malt characters, but a solid offering for a Belgian IPA. Not too sweet but not too bitter either, this is a solid beer.
