Interesting hoppy flavor that is not all in your face and melds well with malt character. Alcohol stayed well away from detracting from hoppiness, but it needed more to me to jones over it. A decent try for $7/btl. but a little pricey for me to drink this like it is meant to be.

In a snifter this beer was a hazy cherry amber color with a medium-sized tan head. There was a fair amount of lace.
Great aroma: pine, really vibrant citrus, and sweet malt. I wanted to keep on sniffing this beer.
The taste was quite good, just not as good as the aroma had promised. Sweet biscuity malt, piney hops. Some grapefruit and tangerine.
Plenty hoppy, with a lingering bitterness.
One of the better offerings from Clown Shoes.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden copper with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet sugary melon and dank piney peppery hops.
The flavor is is a let down - earthy grassy bitterness, a little sugary fruit, and some cardboard notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied and very watery.
Overall, I was excited after pouring, but the flavors are not bright and a bit off and it's really watery.

Growler filled at DeCicco's in Ardsley, NY.
Pours a nice warm shade of medium amber, lightly clouded, under a long lasting and near creamy lite tan head, that leaves a thicker film and all sorts of ringed sheeting and bits and blobs of thick stick.
I get some bready malts and mild hops on the nose. Smells like a milder British style IPA.
British theme continues for me onto the palate, hops are present but not crunchingly "in your face", depends who you talk to but this is not neccesarily a good thing...notes of toffee, whole wheat toast, a hint of alcohol/gin/lime.
Easy drinking and somewhat on the tame side flavorwise. However, I found this offering to be quite enjoyable and to go well with a garlicky BBQed pork tenderloin and a salad.
More better then respectable beer from Clown shoes.

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large white head. The aroma has an interesting mix of malt and hops. I get some nice orange and grapefruit notes, as well as some other tropical and citrus notes. There is also a nice sweet biscuit malt character to the aroma.
The flavor is more of the same. I get some bitter grapefruit and pineapple notes, as well as some biscuit and toffee from the malt. The sweetness and the fruit notes go very well with the bitterness.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Clear apricot colroed with a thick beige head of foam that lingers long and slowly recedes. Low aroma of citrus hops, some lightly toasted malt. Fresh hoppy flavors full of tangerine and grapefruit rind, some piney notes. Good honied malt backbone, but the hops really shine through on this one. Dry mouthfeel, a bit puckery in the cheeks from the hop bitters, but full. Very enjoyable beer overall.

Nice appearance, yellow/gold/copper/light orange amalgamation, small 1/2" head on the top. Aroma lacked hoppiness. That's what we're here for right? Just like cereal grain and that was about it.
Taste, wow, stale, lacking hop flavor. How old is this? Who knows, Clown Shoes doesn't want you to know. Bought the same day I bought a six pack of Lakefront IPA (Milwaukee) from total wine, so if they can get 2000 mile away ipa to me that is fresh, I guess they can do 3000? Apparently not. Utterly devoid of hop flavor. Just some chunky bitterness and cereal grain flavor. No pine, citrus or whatnot, just bleh. Some caramel.
I won't pay for it again until they have bottle dating. I've liked most of their beers, but this was one of those bottom 20% of all ipa territory.

Bomber served chilled into a shaped Sam Adams glass.
Supa Hero is a hazy yellow orange color with thick white head. It's tight and sticky leaving some nice lacing behind.
Aroma is super hoppy and fresh with great citrusy hops. Accurately described as dank on the label.
Flavor has lots of great hop flavor. Surprisingly not that bitter but full of fresh hops and a lemony citrus character.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Very well balanced for a double IPA.
Overall a pleasant surprise. This one tastes better than the reviews had me expecting.

Medium yellow coloured body, leaving lace. Fresh from Rhode Island, thanks Americo for bringing back. Lemon bitterness. Long bitter finish. The malting could have been more complementary. Boozy and more of a hop deliver system. Drinkable, but not great for the style.

O- Overall, this is a solid IPA and another thumbs up beer from Clown Shoes.

Pours a toasted golden color, close to amber. The head is short and dense and settles into a sparse cap.
The aroma is of fragrant hops, though not very strong. The hop aroma is floral and grassy. This mixes with a powdery yeast, kind of musty. Meh.
The taste is a mix of tropical fruit and floral hops with a bit of a piney bite in the end. The malt is bready and neutral. The yeast is powdery and gives that homebrew sort of taste. A small hint of a lemony brightness.
Moderate to full body with soft carbonation. Mild sweetness with a piney bitterness and finishes with some asprine notes.
A rather disappointing DIPA. It is hoppy bitter but no nice hoppy flavors. The powdery yeast doesn't help.

Nice clear dark copper with an off white head and of course nice lacing. Little carbonation evident. Smell is rich with caramel malt and pine. A fruit melange has tropical notes as well as alcohol and medicine. Taste is sweet with caramel and burnt brown bread as well a wisp of Irish coffee. Medicinal facets show for a moment as it moves to grapefruit in the firmly hopped finish. Hop oil lingers and coats the sides of my mouth and a light biscuit malt flavor. Feel is slightly slippery and on the lighter side of thick with a nice amount of carbonation to break it up. A good solid offering.

Poured worthily into a Duvel glass an orange amber with a thick white froth appearing and clinging nicely as a sip smelling of glorious flowery pine, dank indeed, bursts into bitter pine in the front of the mouth before cascading oily bubbles across just enough malt to save the day, without much ABV burn, from what is otherwise a seriously bitter villain lacking a bit of nuance.
As far as an IIPA goes - it doesn't fit my bill. It's seriously a bitter exercise but it still made for an enjoyable beverage.

Ruby tinged, orange tinged, amber. Big tan head. Great lacing along the sides of the glass. looks awesome!
This beers smells intensly of citrus and pine as well as an almond like malt aroma. A little alcohol.
The taste is absolutely terrific. A massive blast of bitter piney hops hit you at first, then pink grapefruit and apricot comes out more and more as the beer warms. Palate wrecking but delicious!
I loved Supa Hero!!
