A: Jet black colored liquid, pours to about a fingers worth of light milk chocolate head. Dissipates quicker then anticipated and leaves the top covered in spots with a blotchy head of lace.
S: Nice roasted malt aromatics, with chocolate and toffee the most dominant.
T: Nice roasted malt flavors as could be expected but some very deep dark chocolate flavors busting thru and really take over. Light piney hop flavoring coming thru followed by some nice tartness. Some spiciness in the background from the chilis and aftertaste as well but it adds to the flavoring compexities. Very nice.
M: Light carbonation works with the flavors, which are crisp. Slight dry feeling on the palette but not one that is very noticeable.
O: Not a bad Imperial Stout. This has less smokeyness and more dark chocolate flavors then i expected and found it to be very enjoyable.
