One of the more unique bars in Portland. Not a shock it's a McMenamins establishment.

Love the vibe, tiny little "triangle" shaped building where a road splits like a "Y". Small and cramped, with a upstairs that can open up, and you can sit outside when the weather is nice. Then a tiny and cozy little basement with another bar.

Quality of the beer I had this go around was better than normal for a Mcmenamins beer, not great though. Also not a ton of options on tap though, I assume it's due to lack of space.

Service was good. The guy working downstairs was friendly and quick.

Worth stopping if you like to check out quirky and old places.

This is a pretty unique place in an interesting neighborhood. The tiny bar room on the first level can seat maybe 12 people. It was nice outside, so we grabbed one of the many picnic tables. The downstairs barroom is more spacious and also has space for some great local (and free) live music.

Service was fast and friendly. I honestly don’t know how she kept up with 5 outdoor tables, 12 people in the bar area while she was also tending and pouring.

I think they had about 6 beers on tap. All of mine were decent, fresh and to style. Note that they have a decent happy hour and the bartender gave us plenty of notice to order –up before the deals expired.

I didn't eat here this time, but looking at the menu and some of the plates going by, I wouldn't hesitate to on my next visit.

Well worth a stop if you find yourself nearby.

For appearing to be such a cramped space, the property is gorgeous inside...as to be expected from a McMenamins venue. Soon a hotel will be built above. I'm sure it will be amazing.

I spent my visit with some friends and went downstairs. Awesome space down there. Lots of beautiful wood.

I didn't have the food here. Just had the beer. Typical McMenamins brews. I had the Terminator Stout. It was great and consistent. Always a good thing.

Went here at night. Good dim lighting. A great drinking and socializing atmosphere. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Unique location.
