500 ml bottle conditioned, from Alcampo Gran Canaria. ABV is 4.5%. Overcarbonated bottle, gusher. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Roasty aroma, notes of coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry flavour of cold coffee, and not much more.

Very dark brown. Thin beige head.
Sweet chocolate malt aroma.
Taste follows the smell. Lightly caramelised brown sugar.
Medium body which reflects the taste. Very smooth.
My kind of easy drinking stout.

Pours a dark almost black with a small quickly fading head. some light lacing. Aroma is of dark roasted malt, yeast and caramel malt, some mild notes of burnt toffee and caramel as it warms up. Taste similar to aroma with some mild espresso like bitterness from the roasted malt. A medium body with mild carbonation, smooth. Finishes with sweet roasted malt, caramel, moderately dry and some mild bitterness and light toffee caramel ending. Aroma and taste become more prevelant as it warms up. Overall a good, smooth and flavorful brew.

500 ml. bottle. Black colour with a big beige head that lingers for a while and leaves a great beige lace. Smell of hocolate, cofee, roasty, dark fruits, caramel, not much liquorice. Medium to light body, creamy palate. Taste is roasty, chocolate and caramel, coffee and dark frutis and liquorice is more noticeable. Good.500 ml. bottle. Chocolate black with garnet highlights with a pitted carpet of sepia froth that sheets.
Lots of cocoa nibs with ashy roast and a hint of black currant jam.
More charcoal roast with coffee grounds, maybe figs and mild tea and branch hops
Kola nut finish and drying linger. Medium heading to light, some cling, crisp.
Fairly one dimensional - that being roast - and a bit thin. Very much a session stout. Expected more by reputation.

A friend brought this back from England and I got a small glass of it. Black color, standard looking stout. Aroma is roasted malts, not bad, nothing special. The flavor was good, a little dry and chalky but some good malts. Mouthfeel was a bit watery. Overall, not bad but not great. I wouldn't buy a bottle of this if given the opportunity.

500ml bottle. Pint glass. Enjoyed on dec´11. Pitch black with beige, large bubbled, froth. Close, quickly dissipated, crown. Yeast & toffee note aromas. Bitter upfront, slightly fizzy, followed by sweet malts & hints of coffee. Velvet palate. Light body, medium carbonation. Dry bitter finish & dark fruits on the aftertaste. A little more viscosity will be appreciated for a Stout.
