I picked this up in the crate of ales mixed case, enjoyed chilled in a willybecker from the 12oz bottle.
The color is light golden with mild hazed look with thick white head with fine bead and swirls of lace that stick...retention is very good. The smell is nice with a slight pine hop and fruity yeast ester with light sweet malt smell. The feel is decent with good carbonation level and moderately sweet with light bitterness and slight creamy yeast texture finish is semi-dry with medium body and low alcohol influence.
The taste is better than average with some gentle malt providing a backdrop to the mild hop flavor which adds dimension to the slight fruitiness of the yeast which is more stone fruit with light tang of citrus flavor which is almost orange-like in the hop taste. Overall I like this it is not dull and is drinkable which is more than you can say about most blonde ales. I think the flavor is very good for the style and I would drink this again considering it exceeded my expectations

A small white head settles into a thin lacing above a clear straw golden colored beer.
Sour grains with some light hops blended with it aroma.
Sour to almost a slight bitter grain malt taste that seems to have a little hops bite as well.
Dry with some bittering in the aftertaste of this light bodied beer.
An alright tasting blonde, nothing fancy but it does carry with it some taste.

i liked this beer a lot. a brew on the lighter side in terms of body, but with a whole lot of flavor packed in for a blonde ale. it pours a clear straw color with a frothy white head. the nose is pale malts and a touch fresh citrus, maybe lemon. its got a very crisp finish to it, which is much appreciated in these last few hot days of the season here. theres a nice bready malt profile, dry and clean, and the citrus is just subtle. the mouthfeel made it for me though. it has a light body but very robust carbonation which makes it a great refesher and an easy session beer. one of my favorites from the variety pack actually. did a nice job keeping the red rocks dust from drying me out too bad.
